Grove City College announces a faculty opening in the Department of Music and Fine Arts beginning in July 2014. DMA or equivalent in choral conducting required. Responsibilities include direction of the college choral program consisting of Chapel Choir (90-120 members), Touring Choir (45), and Chamber Singers (12-15). Strong keyboard and theory background preferred. Additional teaching responsibilities will be assigned based on the candidate's background and qualifications. This position will also assist in developing and guiding student research opportunities for music majors and involve the integration of technology into the music curriculum.
Candidates must evidence a strong record of classroom teaching, scholarship within their field, and a commitment to instructing highly motivated students. Rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications.
