JOB DUTIES: Responsibilities include developing and delivering marketing courses including Principles of Marketing; assessing student learning in courses taught; advising students; engaging in peer-reviewed research in the areas of teaching and maintaining academic qualifications under AACSB standards; and collegial service as assigned by the department head and/or college dean.
QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum requirements include a Ph.D. in Marketing or related field (ABD considered if degree will be completed by the start of the Fall 2014 semester); demonstrated effectiveness in teaching undergraduate Marketing courses; and meeting the AACSB standard for being academically qualified. Preferred qualifications include: experience in the sales field and/or teaching sales-oriented courses and experience in the development of instructional materials, including alternative delivery methods. Additional requirements include a commitment to excellence in teaching and well-developed teamwork and communication skills. Other job related education and/or experience may be substituted for part of these requirements.
SALARY & BENEFITS: Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, with appointment expected at a rank of assistant or associate professor.
