Candidates must hold an earned doctorate in Biblical studies and have a demonstrated capacity for critical reflection. They must possess pastoral experience and be rooted in the Baptist tradition with evidence of active involvement in the life of a congregation. A record of successful administrative leadership in either theological education or the practice of ministry, gifts for teaching and mentoring students, and familiarity with the use of technology in teaching and instructional delivery systems is desired. They should also have a calling to educate doctoral level students for ministry. Teaching experience at the undergraduate or graduate level and a record of academic publications will be highly valued. Commitment to collegiality with students, staff, faculty, and administration is required. The position is a tenure track, with salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
