DIRECTOR OF RESIDENTIAL LIFE - Responsible for maintaining the vision, leadership, and administration of a comprehensive Residential Life program that addresses student development, campus retention, facilities coordination, supervision, staffing, budgeting and academic support. This position serves on campus committees, manages the Residential Life budget, facilitates repairs and improvements, conducts student discipline cases, serves as an on-call responder to discipline and emergency situations in the halls, administers Residential Life data for the Clery Act Campus Crime Report, and calculates/distributes projected and actual occupancy. REQUIRED: Masters degree in student development or related field and a minimum of five years of experience in increasingly responsible and professional roles related to residence life and student life areas; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job; excellent communication skills; an understanding of budgets, higher education legal issues, risk and crisis management. PREFER: Experience with living-learning programs and an active commitment to diversity.
