Purdue University Northwest (PNW) invites nominations or applications in the search for its next Provost and Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs. The Provost will join the entire PNW community at a time of great excitement, momentum, and change, providing outstanding leadership and advancing the academic enterprise.

PNW is seeking an individual who possesses a forward-thinking mindset, a deep understanding of the academic enterprise, a student-centered approach, and a commitment to shared governance. Additionally, PNW desires a strong and experienced leader who can cultivate an environment that effectively leverages its exceptional faculty, student, and staff talents to capitalize on Purdue University Northwest’s momentum of growth and innovation. Offering bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees, PNW is dedicated to the highest levels of academic achievement, community engagement, and diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. The opportunity to build upon the university's history and recent successes continues as PNW addresses the changing needs of its Chicago and Northwest Indiana metropolitan areas. The PNW Provost reports to the Chancellor of Purdue University Northwest, Chris Holford, and is a peer and partner with the Chancellor's cabinet. The Provost serves as PNW’s chief academic officer and oversees the institution's deans, academic leaders, and Provost's Office staff.
