TWO TENURE-TRACK POSITIONS:
ELEMENTARY LITERACY/
LANGUAGE ARTS AND K-12 STEM

The School of Urban Education at The University of Tulsa invites applications for two tenure-track Assistant Professor of Education positions, commencing August 2014. Candidates should be highly qualified to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in: elementary literacy/language arts education (position one), or K-12 STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) education (position two). Both positions require a Ph.D./Ed.D. (all requirements completed by August 1, 2014) in Curriculum and Instruction or a closely related field, as well as a minimum of three years' experience teaching elementary (position one) or K-12 (position two) and evidence of an active research agenda including publication, presentations, and/or grant proposals. Preferred qualifications for both positions include experience teaching at the postsecondary level, involvement with supervising field and clinical experiences, and a demonstrated interest in and commitment to urban schools given the university's location and ties to the local community.
