Job Description

The clinical research coordinator will work on an adolescent teen driving health program at the School of Nursing. Overall responsibilities will include assisting with study coordination and recruitment for investigator-initiated studies, multi-center research studies, and patient-oriented clinical and translational research projects under close supervision.

Works directly with principle investigators, research coordinators, project managers, and other research staff.

Performs recruitment, screening procedures, consenting of participants, processing, and shipping of labs, entering data into databases, and escorting participants to other testing/procedure areas.

Responsibilities for this position include:
  • Conduct and maintain eligibility screening and recruitment procedures
  • Obtains informed consent/assent from parents and adolescence
  • Perform interviews with subjects according to established protocols, including telephone intake
    and follow-up
  • Conducts primary data collection activities, facilitate parent sessions, and collect driving logs
  • Assist with social media management and study social media presence
