ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF LAW

Teach law school courses in the following subject areas: 1) Introduction to Chinese Law, which covers a survey of the Chinese legal system, 2) Federal and/or International Tax, which covers a survey of federal income tax law and its theoretical basis, or its application to international entities and transactions, 3) International Trade, which focuses on major substantive and procedural rules of the World Trade Organization, and 4) International Business Transactions, which focuses on major legal issues relating to transnational business dealings, including cross-border sale, foreign direct investment, and international M&A. Advise students and assist them in understanding course material. Engage in scholarly/ research activities, including publishing research papers in academic law journals and participating in academic conferences. Participate in service to the law school, such as serving on various committees. Minimum requirements: a JD degree or foreign equivalent and a demonstration of scholarly achievements in Chinese Law, Federal and/or International Tax, International Trade, and International Business Transactions.
