Reporting to Executive Director of Alumni Relations, the incumbent will oversee all member services and facility operations, ensuring the USC Alumni Association provides its members with a high level of customer service, both in-person and through digital channels. A qualified candidate should have excellent communication skills, the ability to build bridges and strong collaborative relationships across a complex organization with astuteness and agility, can demonstrate commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and is expected to work on weekends and evenings when needed. University Advancement is committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture in which all advancement staff and our stakeholders have the opportunity to connect, belong, and grow while supporting the University of Southern California’s mission, values, and goals. Responsibilities:
  • Oversees all member services operations, ensuring the USC Alumni Association provides its members with a high level of customer service, both in-person and through digital channels.
  • Oversees facilities operations, including physical plant and IT needs as needed.
  • Manages a team of several full-time employees as well as student staff.  Schedules, assigns and prioritizes workloads and sets appropriate deadlines.  Monitors employee performance on a regular basis and ensures timely completion of unit’s work.
  • Recommends and assists in the development and execution of intra-office procedures and policies as it relates to the management of relevant data (input and output).  Plans, writes, edits, produces and presents or distributes informational materials.
  • Manages ongoing departmental alumni data integrity and capture projects working with internal and external teams to ensure that data is accurate and can be leveraged as needed for marketing, reporting or analysis.
  • Assists in the development and production of alumni reports of activities and alumni population data for USC Alumni Association use.
  • Oversees new and ongoing advanced data requests from department staff and campus partners as needed; liasioning with partners, vendors and suppliers as appropriate.
  • Manages, consults and participates in member services initiatives, communications and data collection projects as needed.

  • Bachelor’s Degree.  Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education

  • 5 Years
 The salary range for this position is $96,000 – $110,000.
