Pay Information:
    
Level B, ($4,146 $5,895) per month based on the current Supervisory and Professional Administrators Association Salary Schedule. Promoted or transferred employees will be placed as specified in the handbook. This position is FLSA Non-Exempt (can accrue overtime). Excellent benefits are provided to employees with assignments equal to or greater than 50%, and all eligible dependents. A temporary probationary period will be applied to the employee entering this assignment. The Position:    

Applications are currently being accepted for Executive Assistant to the President in the Presidents Office, located at Miramar College. Hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Selected candidate must be willing to adjust work days/hours based on the departments needs.

Please note that an employee may be transferred to any site at the option of the Chancellor.

Desired Qualifications:
Experience with a wide variety of difficult and complex administrative and secretarial duties.
Experience serving as a liaison between senior administrator and a diverse groups such as: Chancellor, Board, College President, Vice President, Vice Chancellor,  Academic Staff and Classified Staff
Experience locating, communicating and interpreting district and college policies and procedures.
Experience monitoring budgets and overseeing purchases.
Experience supervising, training and evaluating staff.

All new SDCCD employees must provide a Certificate of Tuberculosis Exam for initial appointment, and must renew the certificate every 4 years as a condition of continuing employment.

All new hires must submit proof of eligibility to work in the United States. All new hires are required to have fingerprints taken by a Live Scan computer at their expense.
