Lamar State College-Orange invites applications for the position of Vice President for Student Services, Enrollment Management, and Auxiliary Enterprises. Lamar State College-Orange (LSC-O) is a two-year state supported college in Orange, Texas. The campus is located in the southeast corner of Texas, near the Louisiana border and 100 miles east of Houston. LSC-O is growing with current enrollment of 2,600 students, and offers technical, academic, and public service programs. The Vice President for Student Services, Enrollment Management, and Auxiliary Enterprises reports to the President and is responsible for providing leadership and support to the College's Student Services, Enrollment Management, and Auxiliary Enterprises Division. Responsible for overseeing enrollment growth through recruitment, admissions, advising, testing, registration, and financial aid; supporting retention efforts through ADA services, child care assistance, career services, and transfer assistance; managing student activities and auxiliary programs including: student activities, campus security, food services, campus recreation activities, the bookstore, and The Brown Center.
Minimum qualifications: Earned Master's degree in college student personnel administration or other related field from regionally accredited institution, six (6) years administrative experience; three of which are in a leadership capacity, knowledge of current trends, theories, and programs in student affairs with the ability to integrate those into cooperative programs for student success, demonstrated commitment to diversity, and principled leadership with integrity.
Preferred qualifications: Earned, accredited Doctoral degree, community college experience, and experience with Banner student information system.
