Family Medicine: The University of Washington Department of Family Medicine seeks a full-time faculty member to join the Department's Research Section. We seek a faculty researcher (M.D. or equivalent, or Ph.D. or equivalent) who can provide leadership and expertise with excellent core skills in health services research, health economics, or health-related social science research relevant to Family Medicine. While start up support will be provided, the ability to secure external research funding is essential. A record of successful extramural research funding is required for this position. Additional responsibilities will include mentoring and training students, residents, fellows, and non-research faculty, and, for clinicians, limited clinical practice and clinical instruction in Family Medicine. Appointment will be at the assistant, associate, or full professor level and tenured or non-tenured (depending on experience and qualifications), in the clinician scientist track with salary appropriate for faculty rank.
