The Department of Kinesiology at Kansas State University is seeking applicants for a 9-month, full-time Applied Exercise Physiology and Anatomy and Physiology Instructor position to teach a variety of undergraduate courses in the department. The responsibilities are as follows: A) Instruct anatomy & physiology laboratory B) Deliver courses on principles of exercise testing and prescription; C) Supervise practicum and internship students; D) Oversee Kinesiology community fitness L.I.F.E. (Lifestyle Improvement through Fitness Enhancement) program offering group exercise classes (e.g., K-State CrossFit).

Candidates are required to have a completed Masters or equivalent in kinesiology, exercise science or related area. Candidates are preferred to have two years teaching experience in anatomy & physiology courses, experience with multimedia instructional methods, and ACSM certification (Health and Fitness Specialist or Exercise Specialist).

The Department of Kinesiology at Kansas State University provides instruction for more than 550 undergraduate majors and 35 masters and doctoral students. K- State, a member of the Big 12 conference, is a comprehensive, research, land-grant institution with an enrollment over 23,000.
