The State University of New York (SUNY) Comprehensive College Consortium is accepting applications for a new fellowship. The SUNY PRODiG Fellowship, “Promoting, Recruitment, Opportunity, Diversity, Inclusion and Growth,” is designed to create a more robust pathway into the academy for historically under-represented minority faculty and women in STEM fields. The PRODiG Fellowship Initiative is a model program designed to raise the pace of degree completion and build a more robust pipeline into the professorate at comprehensive campuses. Personalized mentoring is a key component of the program to develop fellows' pedagogical readiness for future faculty appointments in addition to support their scholarship and research.
Successful applicants will be late-state ABDs enrolled in an accredited doctoral program in the United States with an approved dissertation proposal at their home institution and be authorized to work in the U.S. Post-doctoral applicants are also eligible and encouraged to apply.
