Ancient/Mediterranean World (Tenure-Track), University of Dallas

The University of Dallas, Constantin College of Liberal Arts, History Department invites applications for an assistant, tenure-track, professor of Ancient/Mediterranean World History, with the ability to teach courses in Western Civilization I and II in the context of the University of Dallas’s Catholic liberal arts core curriculum and upper-division courses in one’s specialty. The department needs courses such as Ancient Greece/Hellenistic World, Roman Republic/Empire, Late Antique World, or Mediterranean World and an ability to diversify the department’s offerings in other ways (eg., late medieval, Renaissance, and Reformation) is welcome (information about the department at https://www.udallas.edu/constantin/academics/programs/history/index.php). The teaching load for this position is three courses per semester. Ph.D. is required by the position start date of August 2020.
