The Department of German and Romance Languages and Literatures at the Johns Hopkins University (http://grll.jhu.edu) seeks to hire an Assistant Professor of modern and contemporary Lusophone literatures. The successful candidate will have a native-like or native command of Portuguese; a versatile research agenda; and a record of excellence in teaching. PhD in Portuguese required. Candidates whose degree is joint with Spanish or in Romance Studies will be considered only when Portuguese is the primary subject field.
