The School of Biblical and Theological Studies at Wheaton College (IL) invites applications at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor for the Robert B. and Anna E. Oliver Endowed Chair of World Religions.  This full-time, tenure track position was established in 2019 through a generous gift that provides ongoing support for the salary, benefits, and significant funding for research and scholarly activities.

We seek a distinguished scholar with strong teaching, scholarly publications, and a commitment to the integration of Christian faith and learning.  With this endowed chair, the School of Biblical and Theological Studies will be situated to provide students with the resources and tools necessary to engage our neighbors faithfully with the gospel and lovingly as global citizens.

A Ph.D. in Comparative Religions, Religious Studies, Anthropology of Religions or a related field is required.  A strong research, teaching and mentoring record that supports an appointment to rank is also necessary.

Please send a letter of interest along with a curriculum vitae by email to Linda Bretz, administrative assistant to BTS, at world.religions.search@wheaton.edu.  An application will be sent to promising inquirers.  Review of applicants will begin in August 2019 and continue until the position is filled.
