Classics:  Visiting Assistant Professor/Instructor to teach a full load of Classics courses at all undergraduate levels, particularly courses in the area of culture such as Greek Civilization, Daily Life in Antiquity, and Classical Mythology; advise students.

Require:  Ph.D. completed by date of appointment (for appointment as Visiting Assistant Professor); ABD (for appointment as Instructor) in Classics or related discipline.  Position is not eligible for H-1B sponsorship.  

Consideration will be given to candidates with demonstrated teaching experience; active research agenda in the culture of the ancient Mediterranean world broadly defined; interest in innovative teaching methods including online courses as well as developing study abroad opportunities.
