The Barney Barnett School of Business and Free Enterprise at
Florida Southern College invites applications for a full-time,
tenure track faculty member for Fall 2019 to teach statistics and
quantitative methods and select marketing courses. The specific
need is for knowledge and experience in the following: Applied
Business Statistics and Spreadsheet Modeling and Quantitative
Business Decisions. The normal teaching load is three (3) four-hour
courses per semester. Faculty members are expected to be actively
engaged with students outside of the classroom.
QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate will possess a PhD in Marketing, although other disciplines will be considered including statistics, data analytics, informatics, and operations management, or a closely related field, and will be classified as a "Scholarly Academic” based on AACSB standards and the School’s faculty qualifications policy. Teaching excellence, engaged learning, interdisciplinary cooperation and an applied orientation and collegiality are highly valued and expected of all Florida Southern College faculty members.
