Preference will be given to candidates qualified to teach an introductory course on the Atlantic world and upper-level courses on the history and cultures of Africa, the Caribbean, and/or Latin America, as well as (given the centuries-long attempted Europeanization of the world) introductory courses on pre-1900 Europe.

Teaching experience is highly desirable.  Applicants should submit a cover letter, CV, brief statement of teaching philosophy, graduate transcript, and three confidential letters of recommendation to atlantichistory@randolphcollege.edu. Applications are due December 15, 2018.
