The History Department of Randolph College invites applications for the position of full-time, tenure-track assistant professor in modern Chinese/East Asian history. The candidate also should be qualified to teach a broad survey course on Asian civilizations as well as courses on either South Asia or the Middle East/North Africa.
Date of employment is July 1, 2019; report date is in mid-August. Candidates must have completed the PhD in history, or expect to do so by September 1, 2019. Teaching experience is highly desirable. Applicants should submit a cover letter, CV, brief statement of teaching philosophy, graduate transcript, and three confidential letters of recommendation to asianhistorysearch@randolphcollege.edu.
