The Erivan K. Haub School of Business is currently recruiting tenure-track faculty for fall 2019 in the following positions who are interested in being a part of a dynamic business school and dedicated to the Jesuit tradition of excellence.

Experience in online education and interest in curricular development are plusses. Excellent teaching skills are essential: the successful applicants will teach a 3/3 course load and requires in-person and online teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, with opportunities to teach in the Executive Programs. Applicants must show a proven research record with the potential to publish in leading academic journals.   The individuals selected for these positions will also be expected to participate in student advising/mentoring activities and departmental service as determined by the Department Chair.

Assistant Professor of Accounting, We are accepting applications for a tenure-track position in Accounting at the rank of Assistant Professor. Applicants with a specialty in Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting and/or Tax will be considered. The position requires that the doctoral degree in Accounting be completed, or near completion by the date of appointment. C.P.A. is desirable. The Assistant Professor is expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses both in class and in online fromat, be actively involved in academic research, and provide service to the profession and the university. https://sites.sju.edu/accounting/

Assistant Professor of Finance. We are accepting applications for two tenure-track positions in Finance at the rank of Assistant Professor. A Ph.D in Finance (or a closely related field) is required by August 15, 2019. All areas of Finance will be considered, including Real Estate, Risk Management & Insurance, and Financial Planning. Candidates with prior academic experience, industry experience, and/or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CFP, and CPA) are encouraged to apply. Assistant Professor of Decision and System Sciences. We are accepting applications for an Assistant Professor in the Department of Decision & System Sciences (DSS) to begin August 15, 2019. We seek candidates with a demonstrated interest in areas associated with business intelligence: relational databases, cyber analytics, programming (Python, Java, VBA), data mining, data warehousing, data visualization, Big Data/Hadoop, etc. Applicants should hold a Ph.D. (or expect to complete their degree by August 15, 2019) in Information Systems, Operations Management, Operations Research, Cyber Analytics (including Computer Science and Engineering), or a closely related discipline. Assistant Professor of Marketing. We are accepting applications for an Assistant Professor of Marketing to begin in fall 2019. The Department is looking for a candidate with interests and expertise in the areas of Principles of Selling, Sales Management, B2B/Channels, and Sales Negotiation at the Undergraduate and Graduate levels. Prior sales industry experience also valued. Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in Marketing, or related field required or ABD with Ph.D. prior to August 15, 2019, evidence of a strong research program or indicators of the potential for a strong research program, and documented commitment to excellence in teaching. Assistant Professor in Business Law. The Department of Management is currently recruiting for an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management to begin August 15, 2019. We seek candidates with a demonstrated research and teaching interest in the area of Business Law. Candidates must also possess a related focus in at least one of the following areas: Employment Law, Business Ethics, International Business Law and/or Family Business/Entrepreneurship Law. Teaching excellence and a productive applied research program are expected of all candidates. Applicants should hold a J.D. or Ph.D. (or expect to complete their degree by August 15, 2019) or related terminal degree. Degrees must be awarded by AACSB or similarly accredited institutions. Prior industry experience is valued. Assistant Professor in Entrepreneurship and Family Business. The Department of Management is currently recruiting for an Assistant/Associate Professor in the Department of Management to begin August 15, 2019. We seek candidates with a demonstrated research and teaching interest in the areas associated with Entrepreneurship and Family Business, with a related focus in the area of organizational behavior or strategy. Teaching excellence and a productive applied research program are expected of all candidates.

Applicants should hold a Ph.D. (or expect to complete their degree by August 15, 2019) in Entrepreneurship, Management, or a closely related discipline. Degrees must be awarded by AACSB or similarly accredited institutions. Prior industry experience is valued.
