Hampden-Sydney College invites applications for a tenure-track full-time Assistant Professor of English specializing in 19th century British literature, beginning August 2019. A secondary specialty in early modern or medieval literature is desirable. The successful candidate will teach seven courses in literature and composition. Candidates should hold a Ph.D by time of employment and demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching undergraduates.
