The Department of Government seeks to appoint a tenure-track
professor. The position is open with respect to subfields of
political science, with special interest in research focusing on
democratic dysfunction, international insecurity, unequal
development, or collective action problems in any area of the world
or without a specific area focus. The appointment is expected to
begin on July 1, 2019. The tenure-track professor will be
responsible for teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Doctorate or terminal degree in Political Science or related
disciplines required by the time the appointment begins.
Demonstrated excellence in teaching is desired. The Committee will
begin reviewing applications on September 15, 2018. Harvard is an
