ROLE of the POSITION
Reporting to the Vice
President for Student Affairs, the Associate Vice President for
Campus Life provides vision and leadership focused on a
co-curricular approach to the programs/departments within this
unit; which includes, Student Engagement; Student Diversity and
Social Justice; Student Union and Event Services; Campus
Recreation; Residence Life; and, the facilities, technology,
maintenance, and business and administrative process that support
them. The Associate Vice President serves as a member of the Senior
Leadership Team of the Division of Student Affairs, and serves on
university committees as appropriate for the role. The Associate
Vice President for Campus Life recommends student life policies,
engages in the Student Affairs strategic planning process, and
conducts assessments and evaluations of programs and services to
support data driven decision making. This position supervises a
staff of approximately 115 full-time employees and manages a $35
million budget.
QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires a
Master’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university
and a minimum of seven years comparable upper level administrative
experience; preferably in one or more of the areas of
responsibility.
SALARY RANGE
Salary competitive with those
at similarly situated institutions. Position is contingent upon
funding.
