English:  Visiting Assistant Professor or Instructor in Children’s/Young Adult Literature with expertise in multiethnic children’s literature or children's literature from a global perspective.  Teach a full load of courses in children’s literature, an introduction to literary & cultural studies, advanced composition, and other literature surveys as needed in area of expertise; and provide departmental committee and program service.  

Require: PhD (for appointment as Visiting Assistant Professor), MA, MFA, or ABD (for appointment as Visiting Instructor) in English, Creative Writing or related field; record of scholarly achievement; demonstrated excellence in the teaching of literature. Position is not eligible for H1B sponsorship. Desire:  Ability to teach in the following areas: 17th-, 18th- or 19th-century British literature, Latinx literature, ethnic literatures, or children’s/young adult film.
