Manage budget, finances, and administrative services for Division of Libraries. Lead the budgeting team in financial planning and budget preparation processes. Ensure routinized financial analysis to maintain cost effective, efficient best business practices and integral financial planning. Ensure accurate and correct statements of financial activity and position via management of underlying financial processes, including completion of requisite reconciliations and processing of financial entries in accordance to GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles). Ensure timely procurement and payment of goods and services for Libraries activities and functions. Integrate use of University financial and administrative systems to process and manage finances and to support Libraries' divisional use. Oversee staff to facilitate financial activities and processes and support user needs. Monitor and communicate university business standards and policies, and integrate adherence into all units and operations of the division. This position reports to the Assistant Dean of Budget and Planning.Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting.

Preferred Education:
MBA

Required Experience:
5 years or more relevant experience in financial management environment. Must include experience with accounting, finance, budgeting and staff supervision. Must include experience with financial analysis, financial reporting, training and audits. Thorough knowledge of GAAP required.

Preferred Experience:
Fluency in performing accounting entries.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Ability to analyze, interpret and communicate a variety of financial information to individuals at all levels. Excellent organizational and negotiation skills and ability to resolve complex problems. Strong financial management, accounting, auditing, analytical, interpersonal and writing skills. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point. Familiarity with Acumen software a plus.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Knowledge of corollaries between finances and operations. Cognizant of compliance issues and risk mitigation
