The University of North Georgia invites applications for a ten-month, full-time, tenure-track position as Assistant Professor of Biology. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses including majors introductory biology, immunology, virology, and courses in specialty; scholarly work involving undergraduates; advising students; service to the department, university and community; and professional development.

*Ph.D. at the time of hire in biology or related discipline.
*Teaching experience at the college level is preferred.
*Expectations for this position are that 60% of the workload is dedicated to teaching and that 40% is divided between service and professional development.
