Winona State University invites you to join our Community of Learners as an Assistant Professor of Social Work.  This is a fixed-term/9 month appointment with an expected start date of August 20, 2018. As a faculty member, you will be responsible for (1) teaching in a newly formed Master of Social Work program with a substantive focus on trauma-informed clinical practice and collaboration with practice communities; (2) assisting with Council of Social Work Education (CSWE) initial accreditation, program development and growth, program assessment, and curriculum design and delivery; and (3) teaching MSW graduate courses including, but not limited to, foundation courses, specialized clinical courses, field education, and electives consistent with CSWE standards. Minimum qualifications for this position are (1) an earned doctorate in social work or related discipline; (2) MSW degree from a CSWE accredited program; (3) two-years post-MSW degree clinical practice experience; (4) licensed social worker or license eligible in the State of Minnesota; (5) strong record of research and scholarly productivity; (6) prior experience teaching in a MSW program; and (7) demonstrated commitment to collaboration with community partners.
