RIT Dubai is currently seeking applications from exceptional candidates with a strong commitment to education for the computing faculty position in the area of computing security and networking. Responsibilities include teaching and education activities, development of courses and laboratories, advising students, and engaging in scholarship, research, and professional service activities. The selected faculty is expected to start in August, 2018 in Dubai.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION:
- PhD in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
- Previous teaching experience with the ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the broad area of networking (e.g. routing and switching, systems administration, network services) and computing security (e.g. cryptography, network security, penetration testing, cybersecurity policy and law, computer/network forensics)
- Demonstrated applied research and scholarship activities and successful collaboration with industry on research in information technologies and computing security.
- Excellent communication skills.
