MIT Department of Architecture invites applications for the Pietro Belluschi Teaching Fellowship, named in honor of Dean Belluschi, for the academic year beginning in September 2018. This is a full time nine-month appointment with the possibility of an extension for one additional academic year after review.

The Belluschi Fellowship was established specifically to support architects and designers who are recent graduates in the early stages of their careers. The position offers the opportunity to teach in the graduate and / or undergraduate programs in architecture and design, while also pursuing individual research and / or design research in the cross-disciplinary environment of the department and Institute. Applicants will be expected to teach three courses per academic year, which may include studios, seminars, workshops and lecture courses. Applicants are also expected to participate in the service activities and cultural life of the Department and will have an opportunity to share their work in either a lecture or exhibition venue at the end of their fellowship.
