DEAN, THE SCHOOL HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT

Endicott College is a Baccalaureate, Master and Doctoral Degree granting institution located on the North Shore of Massachusetts.  Endicott enrolls more than 2,850 undergraduates and 2,400 Doctorate, Master and Professional Studies students on its Beverly Campus.  The College also has regional campuses in Gloucester and Boston, as well as campuses in Madrid and sites in six international locations.

DEAN, THE SCHOOL HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT - Performs all supervisory duties for the School of Hospitality including faculty/staff and student recruitment. Provides leadership and an entrepreneurial approach in developing curriculum and programs in keeping with employment trends, industry needs, and student career goals. Markets the hospitality and hotel majors in conjunction with the office of admission. Integrates the academic programs with the Wylie Conference Center into an effective applied learning environment. Works with the hospitality internship coordinator in identifying and developing robust and relevant internship and career opportunities for students nationally and globally. Creates and promotes short- and long-term study abroad options for students in conjunction with the Office of International Education. Maintains a comprehensive assessment program for the hospitality and hotel majors; ensures that the curriculum addresses student learning outcomes and accreditation standards established by the Accreditation Commission for Programs in Hospitality and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. Supervises the Operational Manager of La Chanterelle to ensure that the service program remains integral to the academic curriculum. Teaches up to two courses each semester; serves on Deans Council. Performs other duties as required to meet the goals of the school and the College. Qualifications include Doctorate in hospitality and/or hotel management preferred; management experience in the hospitality and hotel industry, preferably both nationally and globally; college level teaching and administrative/supervisory experience; strong leadership and motivational skills; innovative and entrepreneurial in approach to new initiatives and challenges; collaborative management style.
