Colby-Sawyer College seeks an innovating and energetic full-time tenure-eligible professor in clinical psychology. 

This faculty position, available in late August 2018, would contribute to our Psychology program in the department of Social Sciences and Education and our liberal education program. 

Primary teaching responsibilities include a variety of course in psychology including, Introduction to Psychology, Personality, and Counseling Psychology.

While the specialty area in clinical psychology is open, we will give preference to clinicians who have expertise in addictions, developmental, and/or family psychology. The ideal candidate will demonstrate flexibility of teaching interests within psychology, and a desire to participate in college’s liberal education program.

Our faculty positions involve teaching, advising, some scholarship, and college service responsibilities.  Candidates must show evidence of excellence in teaching at the college level, and a philosophy of education consonant with Colby-Sawyer’s programs and mission.

A doctoral degree is preferred, a master’s degree is required.
