GRINNELL COLLEGE. The Department of Political Science invites applications for a one-year appointment in comparative politics beginning Fall 2018. Assistant Professor (Ph.D.) preferred; Instructor (ABD) or Associate Professor possible.  Expertise open to all regions except Africa, Europe and the Post-Communist region.  Research and teaching interests might include, but are not limited to, social movements, political violence, gender and politics, or political economy of industrialized societies. The teaching schedule of five courses over two semesters will likely include Introduction to Political Science, two intermediate courses in comparative politics, and a seminar.
