Seeking a qualified individual for a full-time faculty position
with a clinical focus in the Department of Physician Assistant
Studies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the
following:
- Assist with the development, content, implementation, and evaluation of the clinical curriculum.
- Assist with the development of new clinical sites, perform clinical site reviews, and site visits.
- Counsel, advise, and assign students to clinical preceptorships.
- Teach, evaluate, and advise didactic and clinical year students.
- Develop and implement ideas, procedures, and functions of the PA program in concert with the clinical faculty, the site director and program chair.
- Maintain state licensure and national certification as a Physician Assistant.
- Participate on college committees as directed by program chair.
- Perform other duties as assigned by chairman/site director.
- Candidate must be willing to travel.
Education
- Master’s degree is required.
Experience
- Candidates must have at least three (3) years of clinical experience.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations
- Candidates should be board-certified as a PA/DO/MD and maintain state licensure and national certification as a Physician Assistant.
