Alfred University seeks a temporary, full-time Assistant Dean to the College of Professional Studies. This position will provide assistance to the College and to the Dean by administering student support programs and supporting a broad range of programs and services provided to students and faculty including administration of college-level retention programs, student advising, curriculum development, and marketing and student recruitment.

Master's Degree in a field related to higher education; e.g., MSED in Education, College Student Development, Counseling, or Master's in Business Administration.

Additional knowledge/skills required are knowledge of computer software systems (Excel, Publisher, Web access/design software); excellent interpersonal, planning, and problem-solving skills; effective public speaking and presentation skills.

At least 3 years of work experience in an office environment.
