The Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service of Georgetown University invites applications for a three-year, non-tenure-track position as a Professor in the Practice of International Affairs and Concentration Co-Chair for Global Politics and Security beginning in August, 2018. This position will have teaching and administrative responsibilities in the Master of Science in Foreign Service (MSFS) Program.

 

The Concentration Co-Chair will have an academic background in the field of international relations, broadly defined, and will teach three courses per year in his/her area of specialization. Ideally, the Co-Chair will teach one or more sections of the required course for all students in the Concentration. The Co-Chair will be responsible for assisting with the selection and preparation of faculty for the concentration. The Co-Chair serves as an academic and career advisor to students in the concentration.

 

The successful candidate will have a record of professional experience in international affairs, working in or with national governments, international organizations, and/or relevant non-profit institutions.
