The Department of Business invites applications for a tenure-track position in Marketing, at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, beginning Fall 2018.  Teaching responsibilities include a teaching load of four courses per semester, with occasional need for overload.  This position will include responsibility for student advising, continuing scholarship, and service to the University community. A strong commitment to teaching excellence, innovative teaching methodology, growth of the Marketing program, student/faculty/community collaboration, and professional growth is expected.  This position will include role of Program Coordinator and requires the continued development of the Professional Internship initiative.

This is a full-time, tenure-track, benefits-eligible position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.   Offer is contingent upon final budget approval.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

  • PhD in Marketing or Doctorate in a relevant discipline with a Marketing emphasis.
  • Experience teaching at the college level combined with a track record of teaching excellence, as evidenced by student evaluations and classroom observations is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the public or private sector in a marketing role is preferred.
