Ball State University Department of Educational Psychology is seeking applications for a full-time tenure track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level beginning August 18, 2018 with specialties in Developmental or Educational Psychology.  Teaching responsibilities will include undergraduate courses in Developmental and Educational Psychology for pre-service teaching programs as well as the minor in Human Development that is housed in the department. Teaching graduate courses in Developmental Psychology, Educational Psychology, and/or Research Methods and Statistics will also be expected.  An active research agenda is required for successful progress in the tenure process, with flexibility in area of expertise in research. Preference will be given to research that supports the mission of the University, College, and Department and supports research development of doctoral and masters students. Expertise and/or scholarly interest in topics related to diversity is also valued. Service to the University, community, and professional community is also required for successful performance in the department.

Minimum Qualifications:  Ph.D. in Educational Psychology, Developmental Psychology, or related field completed prior to August 18, 2018.

Preferred Qualifications:  University teaching experience, experience in educational settings, grant writing experience.
