The Department of Computer Science at the University of Texas in Austin is recruiting for full-time, non-tenure track faculty (Lecturer, Senior Lecturer and Distinguished Senior Lecturer) positions.

The primary duty is teaching undergraduate courses. Teaching opportunities range from introductory computer science courses, such as discrete math, data structures, and computer organization to advanced courses, such as game development, mobile computing and cyber-security.  Applicants should be able to teach in one or more areas of computer science.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
  • Strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • PhD in Computer Science or related discipline
  • Previous teaching experience

Letters of reference must address the candidate's overall quality of teaching and/or presentation skills, the ability to communicate complex topics and expertise in field of computer science.
