Biola University invites applications for full-time, tenure-track faculty positions in Biology, at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor rank, to begin August 2018.

Microbiologist: Responsibilities and Qualifications
Academic load of 12 units per semester teaching undergraduate biology lectures and labs in microbiology and upper division courses such as immunology, virology, parasitology, genetics, or directed research. PhD in Microbiology, Biology, or a closely related field required.

Physiologist: Responsibilities and Qualifications
Academic load of 12 units per semester teaching undergraduate biology lectures and labs in physiology and anatomy and teaching upper division elective courses such as biochemistry, environmental health, vertebrate biology, or directed research.  MD or PhD in Biology, Physiology, Human Anatomy or a closely related field required.

Ecologist: Responsibilities and Qualifications
Academic load of 12 units per semester teaching undergraduate biology lectures and labs in ecology and upper division courses in environmental science, organismal biology, or directed research. PhD in Ecology, Environmental Science, Biology, or a closely related field required. 

Faculty advise students, provide career guidance, and serve on various campus committees. Opportunities for developing new courses and directing student research exist.

The School of Science, Technology and Health at Biola University.  Biola University has made a visionary commitment to growth and development of the sciences through the organization of the new School of Science, Technology, and Health to be housed in the $63M, 91,000 sq. ft.
