Lecturer/ Management Science
The Management Science Department at the Darla Moore School of Business, University of South Carolina, invites applications for a non-tenure track faculty position with a focus on business analytics. The anticipated start date for this position is August 16, 2018. An ideal candidate will demonstrate a proven ability to teach statistics, data management, data visualization, and related topics at the undergraduate level. Candidates without a teaching background but with relevant industry experience are also encouraged to apply. A Master’s degree or higher in statistics, engineering, business, or a related field is required. A Ph.D. in any of these fields is desirable but not required. This is a full-time non-tenure track position with full employment benefits. Salary and compensation will be highly competitive and commensurate with experience and achievements.
This position is designed to offer opportunities for long-term employment with the university, with renewable contracts and opportunities for promotion in accordance with established policies for non-tenure track faculty. Representatives from the department will be available for candidate interviews in Fall 2017 at both the INFORMS Annual Meeting in Houston and the DSI Annual Meeting in Washington D.C. Applications will continue to be accepted until the position is filled.
Clinical/Lecturer in Finance
The Darla Moore School of Business seeks applicants for a non-tenure-track position to begin August 2018. The position is for a Lecturer or Clinical Professor. Appointment at the rank of Lecturer requires a Master’s degree in either Finance or Business Administration coupled with relevant business experience in Finance. Appointment at the rank of Clinical Assistant or Clinical Associate Professor requires a Ph.D. degree. A visiting position may be an option. The primary responsibilities of the position will be teaching finance classes and helping students outside of the classroom enhance their skills, extend their professional networks, and improve their awareness of the opportunities associated with a finance degree.

Assistant/Associate Professor/Economics
The Department of Economics seeks applicants for a tenure-track position at the rank of assistant or associate professor to begin in the Fall 2018 semester. The department has a particular interest in candidates working in industrial organization or growth and development. We will also give preference to candidates able to teach introductory microeconomic theory at the doctoral level. The position requires a doctoral degree or ABD. Candidates for a position at the associate professor level should have a record of high-impact research and demonstrated excellence in teaching. The department offers Ph.D., Masters, and undergraduate degrees in economics, and supports graduate and undergraduate degrees in business administration offered by the Moore School of Business, in which the department is administratively housed.
