The Operations & Information Management (OIM) Department of
the Isenberg School of Management invites applications for a
full-time Lecturer position, non-tenure track, in Information
Systems to start in January 2018.
Candidates must have a doctoral degree in Information Systems (IS),
or a related discipline, by January 31, 2018. This full-time
position requires teaching six course sections per academic year.
Teaching responsibilities include an introductory course in
Business Intelligence and Analytics, and other IS courses as
needed. Teaching experience or evidence of expertise in data
modeling (ER diagrams, relational models, and star schemas),
database management systems, structured query language (SQL), data
warehouses, and visualization is required. Expertise in project
management and other IS topics is desirable. Demonstrated ability,
or potential, to teach at the undergraduate level in face-to-face
and distance education formats is required.
