The College of Education at the University of South Carolina seeks two new professors to continue moving forward with us in building equity, improving education, and advancing research.

Assistant Professor in Counselor Education - The Department of Educational Studies at the University of South Carolina invites applications for a full-time (9-month) tenure track position in Counselor Education at the rank of Assistant Professor. The position provides an opportunity to pursue a line of research leading to publication and external funding; obtain leadership experience in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree track; teach core and specialty courses in the entry-level programs and doctoral program in Counselor Education and Supervision; serve on doctoral committees and advise entry-level students; and serve on program, department, college, and university committees.  The anticipated start date for the successful applicant is August 2018.

Associate or Assistant Professor in Educational Foundations and Inquiry - The Department of Educational Studies at the University of South Carolina invites applications for a full-time (9-month) tenure track position in Educational Foundations and Inquiry at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.  The position provides an opportunity to join a dynamic intellectual community in a College of Education committed to social justice, diversity, equity, and inclusion. We seek a scholar to join a faculty team who explore issues of cultural, historical, political, social, and comparative/international contexts of education and who advocate for access, equity, and justice for all students. The anticipated start date for the successful applicant is August 2018.
