The Board of Trustees and The College of New Rochelle (CNR) community invite applications and nominations for the position of President. CNR’s 14th President will lead the institution to a next level of academic success and a restored level of financial stability through transformative, collaborative, and transparent servant leadership. Founded in 1904 by the Ursuline Order and located just outside New York City, The College of New Rochelle is an independent college, Catholic in origin and heritage, and dedicated to the primacy of the liberal arts and community created from diversity.

The College of New Rochelle provides a vibrant educational environment that is enhanced by the abundance of intellectual, professional and cultural programs available in Westchester County and in New York City. With a total student population of nearly 3,300, approximately 60% of whom come from traditionally underserved communities, CNR understands the importance of higher education for personal and professional advancement and career success. The faculty consists of dedicated, student-centered scholars and teachers, who have been awarded many fellowships and honors and recognized professionally for excellence in teaching.

CNR has been recognized by the Council for Adult and Experiential Learning as one of six best practice institutions and has been named as a “College of Distinction.” In addition, CNR has been recognized for six consecutive years on the President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll, the highest federal recognition a college can receive for its commitment to volunteering, service-learning and civic engagement. The College has recently received two federal grants totaling $14M that provide intensive resources to support student success.

The College of New Rochelle’s 14th President will be a person of creative vision, energy and unquestioned integrity, with an unwavering commitment to the life-altering power of education. For the right leader, CNR provides a unique opportunity: to move a proud, loyal and passionate community forward in a time of transformation. The CNR Community is strongly committed to looking to the future and building upon the institutional strengths while addressing the unique opportunities presented, including reconnection and community, financial stability, and external engagement and brand identity.

Completed applications are due by November 17th, 2017. RH Perry & Associates is assisting CNR in their search. Prior to submission, please visit www.rhperry.com/searches and review the Executive Search Profile. All communications may be directed in confidence to: Mr. Matthew J.
