We also sponsor an advanced, post-professional athletic training program that culminates with a Master of Science degree. Currently, 33 certified athletic trainers matriculating in this two-year program are funded by clinical, teaching, or research graduate assistantships. The Department of Health and Human Performance has received approval to plan an interdisciplinary doctoral program in rehabilitation sciences which includes athletic training.
