Assistant or Associate Professor, University of Nebraska at Kearney. Essential Functions: Primary responsibilities include teaching three undergraduate courses per semester with the potential for some courses with a graduate component, maintaining an active research agenda and scholarly productivity, attaining graduate faculty status, participating in recruitment and advisement of students, serving on departmental and university committees, promoting program development, contributing to assessment efforts, and advising student organizations. Required Qualifications: A Ph.D. in Social Work or related field, and a Masters of Social Work from a CSWE accredited institution with a minimum of two years post MSW-experience. Advanced ABD will be considered. Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience, demonstrated commitment to research and publications, the potential for securing external funding, and effective communication and collaboration skills. For appointment at the Associate Professor rank, a record of publications and/or active external funding is expected. Start Date: August 13, 2018. Competitive salary and benefits.
