Assistant Professor of English with specialty in Professional and Technical Writing. The Department of English, Foregin Languages and Cultural Studies offers courses in technical writing, an undergraduate concentration in Professional Writing, an online graduate concentration in Writing and Linguistics, and an online graduate certificate in Writing for Business, Industry and Technology. Therefore, we seek a candidate who will provide high-quality instruction in undergraduate and graduate courses in professional and technical writing in both face-to-face and online settings. Candidates also should demonstrate a willingness to assist with the retention of students and a promising research agenda. Minimum qualifications: Ph.D. in English preferred, ABD considered. Preferred qualifications: Ability to teach courses in first year composition courses and in digital culture.
