Assistant Professor of Anthropology

The Department of Sociology & Anthropology at Montana State University (Bozeman) invites applications for a tenure-track position in Anthropology at the rank of Assistant Professor, to start in August 2018. We seek an established Ph.D. who (1) has substantive interests in Cultural Anthropology, (2) has a well-articulated research agenda that includes a record of scholarly productivity, and (3) has a commitment to teaching and mentoring undergraduate students. The area of specialization is open, aside from East Asia. The appointment is a nine-month, tenure-track position. We hope to attract applicants who can teach in a diverse University community and have a demonstrated ability in helping students from diverse backgrounds succeed.
