Assistant Professor of French and Francophone Studies, Middlebury College, MIDDLEBURY, VT -- The Department of French and Francophone Studies seeks anAssistant Professorfor a tenure-track position, beginning September 2018, in Francophone Studies, with a concentration in Francophone Visual Culture. Ideal candidates will be interested in working in a collaborative environment in a small liberal arts college setting. Applicants must have native or near-native command of French and must have completed all Ph.D. requirements by August 2018. Candidates must show evidence and/or promise of excellence in teaching students from diverse backgrounds and have an active research agenda. Teaching responsibilities will include all levels of language courses, as well as content-oriented introduction and upper-level courses.
